One of the challenges of learning Thai is that many approaches to gaining literacy are non-parallel with standard approaches to building basic conversation vocabulary.
Looking to build literacy with meaningful input early on, I came across มานะ มานี. The resource seemed like a good easy reader to build from.
It is my goal to build an intro to Thai literacy course for English speakers using this Thai early reader as the textbook.
Of note, this website currently relies on text to speech functionality. The quality of the audio will depend on the Thai text speaking engine of your device. For example, on my Mac selecting Siri Voice 1 or 2 for my devices Thai voice provides better results than selecting Kanya (Enhanced) which provides better results than selecting Kanya.
